The business of HICOF is to advocate for agriculture and especially for organic farming in Hawaii.

Our mission includes all activities that directly support and advocate for organic farmers; to conduct on-farm research; to promote certified organic products to our consumers; and to enhance the business of Organic Farming, everything from seeds to soup, or as we like to think of it, "From Farm to Fork"

Why Organic?
Organic means crops were grown without the use of conventional pesticides or artificial fertilizers and that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food additives. There is evidence that organic farms are more sustainable and environmentally sound, among other benefts.
